Best Weight Distribution for 1995 Ford F-250 Towing Car Hauler Trailer

Question:

Will be towing a 8x20 car hauler with 10,400 GVWR. Usually will haul 3,400 Lb car with tools. What is a good weight distribution and sway system that won’t break the bank. I can’t afford $700-$800 WD systems. Thanks.

The best weight distribution and sway control setup for your trailer will be the Strait Line part # RP66084 which has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs and features the only and best sway control that works to fight sway before it starts.

For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.

The best value weight distribution system out there is the Husky Centerline systems as we have found they work really well and are priced a bit better than similar performing systems. So for what you have the proper rated system is the part # HT32218 which has a tongue weight range of 800-1,200 lbs.
