Can Trailer Valet 5X Swivel Jack and Trailer Mover be Hard Mounted to Side of Aluminum Trailer Frame
Question:
Trailer Valet 5X. Can mounting bracket be hard mounted on side of frame of Feather lite trailer rather than bracket mounting. The trailer has an aluminum deck that prevents two sided bracket mounting

The Trailer Valet 5X Swivel Jack and Trailer Mover # STC-V211 is designed to be mounted to the trailer using the included brackets. If you wanted to modify the trailer jack so that it can be mounted directly to your trailer frame then that would be something you'd need to research on your end, but the only way I can see mounting it without the brackets is to weld it and I don't see welding steel to aluminum going over very well. If you had a trailer with a steel frame I could see that being more plausible, but I'd still recommend just using the mounting brackets like this jack was designed.
For your application you light consider looking into the Trailer Valet XL which comes with a 2" hitch ball # TVXL2 or 2-5/16" hitch ball # TVXL25. You do have to install it each time you go to use it, but that also means that you don't have to worry about compromising the integrity of your trailer frame.
