How To Determine If Spare Tire Will Work With Curt Hitch On 2016 Dodge Durango
Question:
The Tech Tips under this item indicate a full size 18inch spare tire will fit with this hitch. Other QandA seems to indicate that only the doughnut spare will work. Which is it?

The trailer hitch options for a 2016 Dodge Durango like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13182 only work on models with with 18" spare wheels, not 20" spare wheels. In order to determine which you have simply look at the spare tire size. If it ends with R18 you are good to go but if R20 there would not be a trailer hitch that allows you to retain this in its current location.
