Choosing Between the Reese 20K Goose Boxes
Question:
Hi, Ive got a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 diesel long bed with a gooseneck hitch. Im purchasing a 5th wheel with a 10,300 lb. GVWR, 1520 lb. tongue weight. Is there any reason to consider Reese part #94720 over #94716, or would 94720 be overkill for this application?

In order to choose the correct Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter you'll need to first know which model pin box you have (1621, 1116, 1716 etc.) and then the weight capacity of the existing pin box. The part # RP85FR are both for a 1621 and has a 20,000 lbs weight capacity.
