Recommend 16,000 lbs Goosebox for a 1621 Pin Box
Question:
My pin box is a Lippert Components, ROTAFLEX, LCI Part # 160468. Will the Reese 16K Goose box fit? Ive read posts that recommend the 20k. I think thats overkill, my trailer is only 12000 lbs.

Thanks for the pictures! I just spoke with my rep from Lippert. You have a standard 1621 pin box. To upgrade to a goosebox you will want the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter item # RP85FR. This is rated for 20,000 lbs and will work perfect with your trailer.
You will also need the Safety Chain Kit with Clevis Hooks item # GY49GR as the gooseboxes do not come with the required safety chains.
