How Many Bolts Per Bracket for Curt Universal Rail Kit of 2009 Ford F-250

Just had this put on my 2009 F-250 and they only used one bolt in each L bracket to the truck frame is that ok or should they use two bolts through the frame thanks

Curt doesn't actually recommend the universal rail kit # C16100 for your 2009 Ford F-250 but since Reese has their very similar kit part # RP30035 as a fit for your truck it would fit and work fine. Now having only one bolt per bracket through the truck bed and to rails would be normal for this type of install so you are fine.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…

I'm assuming your 2024 F-250 has the 6-3/4' bed. If that is correct, the right tie-downs are in fact the #TLF3008 and #TL77CR. TorkLift has accounted for the bed access steps on the 2024 model and confirmed these will fit your truck.
