When Is a Drop Shank Needed for the Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System
Question:
How do i know if i will need a drop shank or standard shank i have a 2006 stock height dodge 2500 mega cab and a 2008 keystone 311BHS

The Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System part # HT32218 comes with a shank that offers up to 1-1/4" of drop. In order to confirm if this is enough you'd need to measure from the ground to the top of the hitch opening inside and then subtract the distance from the ground to the bottom of the trailer coupler while level.
If I had to guess, I'd say you need a bit more drop than this so I would add the Husky Weight Distribution Shank part # HT31518. I wish it came with this longer shank but it must be purchased separately
