Question:
1st do you have the HM40675-11998 in stock? 2nd we have a customer with a 2016 Chevy Colorado and I am recommending the HM40975-11998 for his truck that has no towing package no plugs or anything. How long does it take to install this product?

Yes, the Hopkins 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Sockets w/ Mounting Bracket and Wiring # HM40975-11998 is in stock.
Installing this on a 2016 Chevy Colorado should take no time at all (maybe 20 minutes tops if you aren't familiar with it?) because all you have to do is replace the knockout plug in the bumper with this connector and then splice in the wiring harness to the OEM wiring on the driver's side of the bumper. Since this wiring will be out in the elements I recommend using the heat shrink butt connector kit # DW05745-10 instead of the standard butt connectors that come with the wiring kit as the heat shrink provides a much more secured connection.
Attached is an installation video we did of this wiring kit on a 2016 Colorado that you can check out. I've also linked an image of the color code for the Hopkins harness as well as a photo of the connections we made for the install that you can refer to. It would be worth using a circuit tester to verify that these are the correct circuits on your end as well.
