Does it take a different stile plug in for my controller to go from a dodge to a ford

In order to use the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160 on a 2001 Ford Van you'll need the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3035-P. This plug is specific to Ford so if you brought this controller over from a Dodge you'd need a new one.
