Fifth Wheel Bike Rack Recommendation to Carry 3 Bikes
Question:
Looking to carry 3 bikes. 1 Men’s Mountain Bike and 2 Women’s Beach Cruisers. Our Fifth Wheel has the 2” Receiver Hitch. What rack would you recommend? I was considering the Swagman trailhead. However not sure if that is recommended with the Beach Cruisers? I do have 2 bike frame adapters Different Brand from a previous SUV bike rack. In a perfect world I would prefer a Platform Rack. Thanks for your support.

For fifth wheel approved bike racks that fit trailer hitches if you need to carry more than 2 bikes you have to go with a hanging bike rack since they are a bit lighter and not quite as long (less leverage) so for that the best recommendation is the Yakima LongHaul part # Y02476 which is a 4 bike rack. A 4 bike rack is actually easier to load 3 bikes onto as you have a bit more room. This rack has the best cushioned frame cradles of the options available and has a strap system that's very easy to use.
You'll need to use your bike frame adapters like part # UB01 to carry the beach cruisers since they have women style frames without horizontal top tubes.
