Deciding Between Trailer Hitch and Roof Rack for 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe

looking at a tow hitch and possible roof rack for 2019 santa fe. does it come with all all hardware and any instructional videos?

The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98843. This trailer hitch is a direct bolt-on option which is easy to install and has a matte finish so it will blend in well with the vehicle. This option will be great for use with a cargo carrier, bike rack, or even towing a trailer and is what I recommend. It comes with all hardware and I have attached an install video below. In comparison to a roof rack, it will be much easier to load items onto and you will have a higher weight capacity.

That said, have a hitch and bike rack etc. on the rear also can make getting into the hatch area more difficult and it does extend the overall length of the vehicle so if you wanted to avoid this then you can install a roof rack. The Thule WingBar Evo Crossbar System part # TH711220, part # TH460R, and part # THKIT4093 is the best option on the market for models with flush side rails.
