Does MaxxAir Roof Vent Cover Allow Powered Roof Lid to Open Fully
Question:
Good day. I have two maxxair fans in the roof of my raptor. With the max x air covers in place with the lids still auto open all the way? If not will this affect the longevity of the motor, being as it will keep pushing for a period of time I am guessing. Thank you.

Since your RV has Maxxair roof vents already the vent cover you'd want is the part # MA86JR which was designed for this application. It won't allow the lid to fully open but once it reaches the top of the vent it won't continue to try and open. The vent will open far enough to allow max air flow while still preventing water from getting in or having to close it when travelling.
