Grille Guard Replacement Hardware for 2000 Chevy Suburban
Question:
My 2000 Chevy suburban is a 2500. It has a Westin sportsman grille guard already installed on it. The grille guards mounting hardware is damaged. I think it is most likely a 40-0 185 grille guard. So what replacement mounting kit do I need? Nothing I have found so far mentions the 2500 suburban for the year model 2000.

We don't have a grille guard fir for your 2500. The 1500 does have the Westin Sportsman Grille Guard - 1 Piece - Black Powder Coated Steel # 40-0185 which would use the replacement bracket kit # 40-018PK.
Your grille guard photos look different with the top bar extending past the center uprights. We don't have anything to match that so it is not # 40-0185.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Your information was correct and helpful. Since this is definitely a Westin grille guard I believe it could be from 99 models and earlier I'm not sure if there is a kit available to replace mine. But photos of 99 model year and earlier seem to match what I have. I will keep looking for the mounting kit. Thanks for your help.
