The correct Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers will be choose based on the axle diameter. Therefore, if you have a 3" diameter axle tube you will need to use part # RM-2460. The shocks between the 3,500 lb and 5,200 lb to 7,000 lb systems are the same, the brackets are what is different.

I also have tandem 3,500 axles, but was wondering if this kit is overkill for the size of the trailer. We have a 32ft Coleman 281BH with a dry weight of ~6,200lbs. Are these going to be too stiff to improve the ride? The trailer rides really rough and we're experiencing porpoising. Thanks,

If the axles on your Coleman trailer have a 3" diameter then the Roadmaster # RM-2460 is the correct kit. The shocks themselves are rated appropriately for the 3,500 pound axles and the total trailer weight you're looking at. This system is not over-rated for this setup.
