Which Hub Assembly and Bearings do I Need to Replace 4 by 4 trailer hubs?
Question:
I have a 2004 Viking 2017 Saga pop up camper. The wheel version is a 4 on 4 and the tire size is 12. I have broken studs on each hub so I need to replace the entire assembly. The current hub is a Dexter EZ Lube, but not sure anything else. How/where do I find the exact hub I need? Is it based on the bearings? I see no ID markings on the hub itself. I havent yet disassembled the hub from the axle. Thanks!

To find which hub works for your trailer, we need to remove the current hub and look at the bearing numbers on the current bearings. Part # AKIHUB-440-2-EZ-2K is the part you most likely need, but there is no way of knowing until the bearing numbers are matched.
When trying to verify the bearings you currently have, you need to pull the bearings out of your hub and there should be a bearing number on the seal of the bearings. This will tell you if this part is a correct fit or not. If there aren't any bearing identifiers, you need to get a digital caliper and actually measure the bearings. The inner bearing and outer bearing should both have a diameter of 1.063. The bearing number you should be looking for is L44649. We do sell the bearing separate if needed part # L44649.
