Wiring Adapter for Redarc Tow Pro Elite Brake Controller in 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
Im going to buy the Redarc RED44FR for my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Anything else you think I might need? Thanks.

Helpful Expert Reply:
So long as your 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee has the factory 7-way, then you can absolutely use the adapter harness with the Redarc trailer brake controller. All you would need are:
- Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR
- Wiring Adapter # RED77FR
If you do not have the factory 7-way on your 2020 Grand Cherokee, you can use the Tow Pro Elite but would not use the adapter, and would need to add trailer wiring, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118727 and Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controllers # ETBC7.
