Wiring my Lights with Different Color Wires.

Question:

My trailer wiring has the usual harness but my lights have 2 black and a red...not sure where to hook them to ...thanks for the helps folks.

No Worries! It is very common for your lights to have similar color wires. Commonly one black is ground, one black is running lights and the red is brake. To verify use a 12 volt battery and touch the red to positive and one of the blacks to ground if it lights up bright it you have your ground with the black and your brake/turn with the red the other black is running. If it doesn't light the functions on the black wires are reversed so the one you tried is running and the one you didn't is the ground.
