Replacement 7-Way and Lead Recommendation for Trailer with Melted Wiring
Question:
I have a newer trailer with 7 prong connector like most. The 12v lead seems to have melted so I would like to replace the end if not the entire cable. Seems the end only has the one connection bar and the cables have 2 that sandwhich the connections from vehicle. I hope this makes sense. Can I get an plug end only with the 2 connection points per tab?

Since you have some wiring that melted a 7-way with a plug and lead like the part # A10-7W6 would be a great choice. Or to make the install even easier we have a 7-way with a junction box part # HS381-9000 that you can take your old wiring and connect to a box instead of to lose wiring for a much more secure and easier install.
I am not totally sure what you mean by the connection bars but the parts I mentioned are sealed connectors.
