Recommended Self-Adjusting Braking Assemblies and Hubs/Drums for 3,500 Lb Axle

i bougt a 17ft trailer that i need self adjusting brake hub 5x4.5 3500lb trailer and idler hub complete self adjusting brake assemblys complete and idler hubs. inner bearing shaft is 1.368in. outer bearing 1.058in. the best i can tell the existing were dexter 8-248 and 8-247. but i want self adjusting. also need the complete emergency breakaway lockup system.

The correct braking assemblies are the Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-35-SA which are self-adjusting. The correct hub/drum is the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K for EZ-Lube or part # AKHD-545-35-K for standard.

In regards to models with the parking brake feature, these are not available in self adjusting but we do carry them as the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit w/ Parking Brakes part # K23-086-087-00. If you are instead referring to a breakaway, I recommend the Hopkins Engager Push-To-Test Trailer Breakaway Kit part # 20099.
