What is Simplest and Best Supplemental Braking System for Flat Towing a Vehicle
Question:
Good afternoon. I have an additional question. I ordered the patriot 3 from you. Just waiting for it to ship. I am considering replacing my Ford Escape with a 2020 Chevy Colorado as a tow vehicle. I do not believe it has a power outlet other than for a USB. Is there a way to connect the patriot to a Colorado without the typical 12v outlet?

The Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR is the simplest and most effective tow bar braking solution out there. There's no complicated wiring and it comes with everything needed to install so it would be perfect for you and your best option.

The local RV supplier suggests the Roadmaster 9060 system which seems much more complicated. They have indicated that it is safer. Is there really any advantage over the Patriot ?
