The Touch Pad and Inside Controls are not Working on my Solera Awning. How do I Reset it?

To reset the Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning part # LC517517 you will need to remove the upper motor cover of of the arm and there will be a connector there to take apart. With the cover still off plug it back in and try to operate it if it works put the cover back on. If it doesn't you will need to manually deploy the awning enough to get into the area behind the touch pad of the awning and undo the connectors there. There is a thin piece of plastic inside the channel that you remove to access this area. Doing this will be a complete reset.
Before doing this I would check to ensure it has power going to it. You can check for power behind the switch inside the camper using a test probe similar to LCD Digital Circuit Tester part # PTW2992
