In order to find the correct replacement braking assemblies for a trailer you'll need yo know the axle capacity which can usually be found by locating the axle tag on the center of the axle. Once this is found, we can use this and match it to a set of braking assemblies. For example, the Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-35-SA is for 3,500 lb axles and the Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-7-SA is for 5,200 lb - 7,000 lb axles. These are the two most common braking assemblies so most likely one or the other will work for you.
If you cannot determine the axle capacity by the axle tag you can measure the diameter, 2-3/8" indicates a 3,500 lb axle and 3" indicates a 5,200 lb - 7,000 lb axle.
