Recommended Hitch and Wiring For 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited
Question:
Hi, could you tell me if the 13900 tow hitch would fit on a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited?

I took a look at the installation instructions for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Multi Fit - Class III - 2" part # C13900 and although it may fit the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee it will take some drilling to get it to fit. The hitch adjusts to fit the frame but if the holes don't line up, the installation will require drilling into the frame.
For that reason, I recommend to use Curt Class III Round Tube Receiver Hitch part # C13182 which is a fit for all the variations of the 2015 Grand Cherokee Limited. It has a 6,000 lb towing capacity and will line right up with the holes in the frame of the Jeep. I have sent you an installation video for your reference.
If you need trailer wiring and your Jeep did not come with the tow package, I recommend to use T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118727. If your Jeep does have the factory tow package, you can use Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package part # C55774. If you do not have the tow package you can use the C55774 for a 7-way and take the Jeep to the dealership to have the towing functions activated.
If you plan on doing some towing you may consider the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. If you are not sure how much rise/drop you may need in a ball mount to tow your trailer level, I recommend to take a look at the helpful article I have attached about how to figure the amount of rise or drop you may need.
