Most Cost Effective Roof Rack for a 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser
Question:
Hi I need to drive to Chicago from California in 2008 PT Cruiser which has no rails and carry some very light items on the roof. Do you know a rack option for a really SMALL budget, please. I would be fine with used. I will use it two times only. Thank you. Stay well!

The most cost effective roof rack we have for a 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser is the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack for Naked Roofs part # SR1005 which has easy to use mounting clamps, standard square crossbars, and locks for security. I will say they don't get much more cost effective than the above.
Depending on what items you are looking to carry, a roof bag may be a better option such as the Rightline Gear Ace 2 Rooftop Cargo Bag part # RL100A20 which can be attached to a bare roof so you don't have to worry about a roof rack and the added cost.
