I have a solution for you, but the Firestone # F2445 kit you were looking at is not a fit for your 2000 Dodge Dakota. It sounds like you have an AirLift system because of the straight sided bag-Is it possible that the Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL59501 is what you have? If so, you can use the Replacement Air Spring for Air Lift SlamAir or Ride Control - Qty 1 # AL50203 to replace the damaged bag on your Dakota. There are no AirLift kits confirmed for your truck that have the part number of 9000, but the parts I've mentioned above are a confirmed fit on the Extended Cab versions of the 2000 Dodge Dakota.
If you're not sure what you've got on the truck and those bags don't look like the ones you've got, feel free to send in a photo of the air bag you're looking to replace and I'm happy to confirm these will work or direct you to the appropriate replacement.
