What Hitch do you Recommend for my 2020 Subaru Outback
Question:
What is the best hitch for my 2020 Subaru Outback

Of the hitches available for the 2020 Outback my pick is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C67JR. It is a good value and is on the higher side of the weight ratings offered. The only one higher is the DrawTite part # DT73RR but with this one the crosstube remains completely visible under the bumper and isn't something I like. The look of the Curt when installed is really nice and remains hidden with the exception of the receiver tube opening as you can see in the photo. This is very similar to the EcoHitch part # EH34FR which has the same look. The difference there is the more costly recycled material it is made of and the lower weight rating it offers.
For wiring use the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118467 is what I recommend as it offers plug-in-play installation. The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness is very reliable and has a 4-way trailer connector which will provide the basic trailer lighting functions.
If you don't already have a ball mount kit use the etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 it has several rise and drop options that will work great for your Outback's height.
