Diagram for Utility and RV Style 7-Ways
Question:
I have seen two different explanations of wire colors on your site and in your videos. You showed a wire diagram where brown was tail lights and green was turn. In a video you explained it as brown is turn and the green is tail lights. I have found both wiring guides given in many places. Which is correct for an RV style plug. I have heard a 7 way round pole may be wired differently for heavy duty trucks. All the conflicting evidence I have seen was directly related to an RV style plug.

I attached a 7-way diagram picture that shows both ways normally seen how a 7-way is wired. The utility style which has the brown for taillights and the RV style that has the green for running lights. An RV would be wired like the center set of pictures.
