I checked with Thule and the Thule Force XT XXL cargo box, # TH6359B, will fit on the factory cross bars on your 2012 Infiniti QX56.

Once you have your OEM crossbars positioned at least 23-5/8 inches apart you will place the box on the roof with the clamps around the cross bars, then move the box forward and rearward to allow for front and rear clearance, rear hatch mostly. Then, you will center the grips on the cross bars and tighten them down. Finally, load the box and secure the load inside the box.

I recommend using a tire step like the HitchMate Adjustable TireStep, # HE4040, to help with installation of the box on your vehicle. I have had the opportunity to use this step for roof rack installations on taller vehicles like your QX56 and it makes things much easier and lessens the opportunity for damage to the vehicle when lifting the large box up to the roof.
