Im trying to find the brake control harness on my RV under the dash but I havent had any luck. do you have any idea if this RV has a harness or if it has to be hard wired for a brake controller.

The brake controller port on a Freightliner XC Chassis should be located underneath the dash and left of the steering column. There will be a 6-pin connector that mates with the one on the adapter harness. Once you find this, I recommend the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3027-P for plug and play installation of the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195.
Please note, the plug can be tapped to other wires or even have a dummy plug inserted so be sure to expand your search to other parts behind the dash as well.
