It will not require any cutting or modification to the rear fascia when installing the Draw-Tite Class II 1-1/4 Inch Hitch, part # 36529, to your 2013 Ford Escape. It is just a bolt-on application. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the # 36529 hitch.
To complete your towing setup you may also be interested in purchasing the following:
Ball Mount, part # 36071
Tow Ready Wiring # 118566 (installation instructions attached)
Tow Ready 1-7/8 Hitch Ball, part # 19256, or Tow Ready 2-Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19258
Since you mention it is for a company truck, I also have the Draw-Tite Class III 2-Inch Hitch, part # 75758, for your 2013 Ford Escape that does not require any cutting or modification to the truck.
A 2-inch hitch is the more common size of hitch receiver for towing and will accept more choices of hitch accessories, like cargo carriers, compared to the 1-1/4 inch hitch size. The maximum tongue weight capacity of 525 lbs on the 2-inch hitch is also higher than the 300-lb weight rating on the 1-1/4 inch hitch. I am including a link to the instructions on the 2-inch hitch.
If you will be towing with the 2-inch hitch you will also need the following parts:
Draw-Tite Ball Mount, part # D-4
Hitch Pin and Clip, # PC3
Tow Ready Wiring # 118566 (installation instructions attached)
Tow Ready 1-7/8 Hitch Ball, part # 19260, or Tow Ready 2-Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19247
