Are Extra Straps Needed to Secure Bike To Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack

Do I need to purchase extra tie straps to secure my bike to the Swagman XC2 bike rack? Thank you very much.

Nope, you don't need anything extra in order to secure a bike to the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack # S64650.
The rack includes everything you need in order to transport your bikes, though this rack does not have wheel straps, it simply secures your bikes by the hooks alone. For a similar bike rack with wheel straps you will want the Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack # S64670.
The only thing I recommend adding for either rack is locks to both secure the rack to your hitch and secure you bikes to the rack, adding some protection for your investments. For either rack you can get the hitch lock only with the Locking Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin for Swagman Hitch Racks # S64029, or the hitch lock and cable lock with the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable Lock # S64031.
