What is the Ground Clearance on the Draw-Tite 75096 When Installed on a 2003 Lexus LX 470
Question:
How high off the ground is the top of the receiver for this draw-tite hitch? I know the standard height for a trailer bar is ~17. Not sure if I would need a hitch with this.

The Draw-Tite Max Frame Trailer Hitch # 75096 is going to be around 17" from the top of the inside of the receiver to the ground-but this is going to vary depending on how much weight is in the vehicle and the condition of the suspension on your 2003 Lexus LX 470. It sounds like you're looking to tow a trailer with your vehicle, so you'll likely need some additional parts to give yourself a complete towing setup, like a wiring harness for the trailer lights, a ball mount and hitch ball.
For a wiring harness I recommend using the Upgraded Circuit Protected Tail Light Converter Hardwire Kit w/ 4-Pole Connector and Circuit Tester # 119178KIT, because we've found that the Tekonsha harnesses are a bit more reliable. For a ball mount and hitch ball I recommend using the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 since it comes with 2 ball mounts with different rise/drops and 2 hitch balls (1-7/8" and 2" balls), plus hitch pins and clips. Since it has different rise/drop ball mounts and hitch balls, these can be used to cover a variety of different trailer tongue heights and allow you to tow level.
I've linked some installation and informational videos on these products that you might want to have a look at, as well.
