Parts Needed to Convert 10k Trailer Axles from Electric Brakes to Electric Over Hydraulic

Question:

Hi - I have a 1994 interstate 20 ton tag trailer, tandem dually with electric brakes. What other parts would be needed to complete the set up? I assume that I would need to have brakes on both axles? some sort of tank? lines? I already have a brake controller in the my truck. any help would be greatly appreciated

First thing you need to do is verify the axles that your trailer has. Hopefully they are a standard axle like a Dexter 10k which the # K2R1058D11 you referenced fits. This brake kit is designed to fit the trailer hub # 8-288-3UC1 which was found on 10k axles made before 2009.

Then for a kit that comes with brake lines for a tandem axle trailer you'd want the # HBA16-252-82 and you'd be set.

Your controller would need to be compatible with EOH brake like our P3 part # 90195 is.
