Will Roadmaster Tow Defender Work with Blue Ox Aventa Tow Bar on 2012 Mini Cooper
Question:
I have a 98 Winnebago Adventurer with a Blueox Aventa LX tow bar. I will be towing a 2012 Mini Cooper. I am looking at your Tow Defender as a means to protect the car. I see that the one model mentions it is compatible with Blue Ox tow bars. I am basically looking for advice / suggestions on applying this product to my tow bar and how well it was work with my tow bar / car? thanks for any information!

The Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screening # RM-4750 is 100% compatible and will work perfectly with your Blue Ox Aventa LX Tow Bar, as long as you also have Blue Ox base plates already installed on your Mini Cooper. It will do an excellent job at deflecting any rocks or road debris down and away from your Mini Cooper's front end.
To install the Tow Defender on your Aventa, you'll basically remove the two shoulder bolts that hold the triple lug brackets on the end of each arm and attach the Tow Defender brackets with the new, longer bolts provided.
