Replacement 2-1/2 Shank For Husky Center Line WDS for 2020 Ford F-250 Super Duty With 3 OEM Hitch

Question:

I recently upgraded to a 2020 Ford F-250 Lariat, 6.7L PSD. It has a Rocky Ridge package on it with a 6inch suspension lift and 37inch tires. It also has a 3inch received on it. I have a Husky 32218 WDH now for my travel trailer I pull 2017 Heartland Mallard M312 . Im looking at one of two options. 1. Looking for a 3inch hitch with a possible 9-10inch drop Does Equal-i-zer make something like that or what is the closest hitch that they do make for that? or 2. Purchasing a new Equal-i-zer WDH, but Id still need a hitch similar to what I described above. Would my best case scenario be to use an adapter to down to a 2 1/2inch hitch to give me more options for the hitch it seems? What are your professional thoughts or opinions?

I do have an option for you but there is currently not a 3" shank available for your Husky Center Line Weight Distribution part HT32218. The best option for you is the reducer sleeve that will reduce the 3" to a 2-1/2" hitch with part # BWRHXA2183.

Then use the Curt Weight Distribution Shank for 2-1/2" Hitches part # C17132 which is going to give you 9-1/4" of drop. This is the most drop we have available in a shank for the 2-1/2" hitch. There is not another shank available with more drop for the Husky Trunnion system. You can make up the 1" of drop that you need to be level by adjusting the weight distribution head down of the Husky system.
