How Does the Curt Hitch # 13530 Affect Lowering the Spare Tire on a 2006 Lexus RX 400h
Question:
Re: 2006 Lexus 400h trailer hitch 13530 from Curt. I wonder how this hitch affects the lowering of the spare tire. It would appear to be a very tight fit, but perhaps all it takes is a push forward on the tire as it is lowered? The OEM part looks a bit more bowed out in the middle for much more $$, but it is tough to tell from photos. Thanks, and always think snow.

The only issue that you may have when removing the spare tire with the Curt Trailer Hitch, # 13530, installed is that you may have to lower the front of the tire first and slide the tire forward when removing it from the vehicle.
This hitch is very easy to install and I have attached the installation instructions and an installation video for you to check out.
