Can ST235/85R16 Tires with 110 PSI Rating be Safely Used with High PSI Valve Stem

Question:

I have a 2009 Jayco 313rks fifth wheel with GVW of 14,000+ lbs. The 4 wheels show a rating of 110 psi on the inside. It came with 80-85 psi tires on it. Can I safely put 235/85r16 110 psi tires on these 16” wheels, with your 100+/200 ? Psi stems?

Yes, you can safely use ST235/85R16 trailer tires with a 110 psi rating on your 16 inch wheels that also have a 110 psi rating.

The valve stem you need is the Americana Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem # AM20906 which fits either 0.453" holes or 0.625" holes.

For trailer tires the two 110 psi tires that are ST235/85R16 are the Westlake ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire # LHWL410 for the premium option with 24/7 flat tire service for two years just in case anything should happen.

The solid budget-friendly option is the Karrier ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10501.

I have added links to video reviews of both tires and the valve stem for you to take a look at.
