The hitches for you 2020 Outback are all very similar in the way they install and the weight capacities are all higher than that of your vehicle so in that respect its a wash. Keep in mind though you should never exceed your vehicles weight rating. The main differences come in the material used and the appearance on the vehicle.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" part # C67JR is a traditional type hitch made of a powder coated steel. It will have a receiver tube opening that is exposed like in the picture below. That is the same for the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" part # EH34FR but this one is constructed of a steel, aluminum and stainless steel alloy coming from recycled materials. It reduces the carbon footprint on the environment required to produce it. These can be used for both towing and for accessories like your bike rack.

The last to from Stealth are completely unseen when not in use the receiver opening and ball mount are removable so the looks of your Outback will be unchanged until your ready to use the hitch then you place in the item you need to use. The Stealth Hitches Rack Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" part # 391SUOB20 is for use with accessories only and is not for use to tow anything. the Stealth Hitches Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Package - Custom Fit - 2" part # 391SUOB20T gives you the option to use accessories and tow. It also comes with trailer wiring to make for a complete kit. Both of these hitches are a powder coated steel and are at the high end of pricing compared to the others.

You can add wiring of course on the others with Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56040 this is a very easy installation to do and will give you a 4-way flat trailer connector to use with trailers and lighted cargo carriers.

I'm still working on installing the CU89FR hitch on my 2020 Outback. Ryan's excellent installation video convinced me to buy the hitch and install it myself, I like the concept of installation without drilling any holes and mounting the hitch under the bumper cover (without removing the bumper cover!) I have already removed the rear bumper cover under guard and awaiting delivery of the hitch. Apparently, the hitch was not in stock, because it took at least 3 days before shipment was initiated. Based upon the video, I expect the hitch installation to take less than 30 minutes.
