What I recommend is our most versatile multi-fit trailer hitch, Curt # 13703. This hitch fits frames that measure 22 to 72 inches apart from outside to outside. It fits C-channel, box frames or I-beams. It can be welded or bolted on. Welding should be performed by a qualified professional. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
The hitch would be great for light towing. It was a 350 pound tongue weight capacity and 3,500 pound tongue weight capacity.
