Does Curt Trailer Hitch # C13149 Fit 2018 Toyota RAV4

Question:

I have a 2018 Toyota Rav 4 2wd, and I found the hitch at a garage sale at an amazing price. I want to attach a trailer and tow it to my daughters place with some furniture for her new house. Is this possible with this trailer hitch and my vehicle?

The Curt hitch part # C13149 is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Toyota RAV4 and has a 3,500 lb trailer towing capacity. You'll have to check your owners manual for the capacity of the vehicle but you should be fine as I found it has a capacity range of 1,500 to 3,500 lbs. Hitch install hardware is considered one-time-use though so you will need to get new hardware. We offer this as our part number # RHK.

If you need trailer wiring as well you'll want the part # 118578 which is custom fit and very reliable. I attached an install video for this too.

If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
