Are Spacers Needed for Timbren Springs Installed on 2020 Ford F350 w/ Leveling Kit

Question:

My 2020 Ford F350 has a leveling kit. Will I need to add spacers along with the # TFR350SDJ Timbren springs?

Late model trucks are usually raked so they're an inch or two taller at the rear axle than the front to compensate for a load in the bed or the tongue weight of a trailer, so typically a leveling kit will raise the front to the same height as the rear. If this is the case, you won't need spacers.

If the leveling kit has raised the rear over and above stock ride height, when installing the # TFR350SDJ you'll need to add enough spacers to return to the gap between the bottom of the Timbren spring and the top of the axle to the 1/2 inch to 1-1/2 inch range you'd see at stock ride height. I've linked you to a video showing how the springs work.

For a 1/2 inch spacer, use # TA25722-90P00 or # A25723-90AH00 for a 1 inch spacer.
