Brake Lines and Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes on 8,000 lb Axles
Question:
is DM5425 the same as Item # 9579-2? I need the cheapest line kit for tandem 8k disc brake axles. Will this work for tandem 8,000lb axles? and what line kit would I need? K71-651

The Demco Hydraulic Brake Line Kit # DM5425 will work for your disc brake set up, but it is not the exact same part, it does have different length fittings.
The Dexter DX Series Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Actuator for Disc Brakes - 1,600 psi # K71-651 is compatible with your axles. These actuators don't have a weight capacity, they put out a certain amount of pressure that will work with either disc or drum brakes, with disc brakes like yours needing more pressure. They will be effective due to the amount of pressure they output.
Keep in mind if you are installing electric over hydraulic brakes you will also need a breakaway kit, the ekonsha Push-To-Test Trailer Breakaway Kit with Built-In Battery Charger # 50-85-313. I have added links to a number of video reviews and installs for you to check out as well.
