Replacement Mounting Bracket for Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller for 2019 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
I like the Tekonsha P-3 trailer brake which I have on my 2009 Tacoma. I can see that I can purchase a cable harness 3031-P for my new 2019 Tacoma with factory tow package. What I also would like to know if whether I can also buy the bracket that the Tekonsha P-3 comes with so that it will be easier to switch controller from one truck to the other?

Expert Reply:
That's understandable; the Tekonsha P3 # 90195 is one of our most popular and well reviewed brake controllers for a good reason. You can use the replacement bracket # TK5906 to mount the P3 in your new 2019 Toyota Tacoma. You can use this, with the Tekonsha Wiring Adapter # 3031-P to swap this controller between your two trucks as needed.
