Fifth Wheel Hitch and Gooseneck Ball for 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 Long Bed w/ Tow Prep Package

My 2020 Chevy Sliverado 2500 long bed has the pucks in the bed. Can you recommend a gooseneck ball and fifth wheel hitch? Thank you.

Our most often recommended fifth wheel hitch is the Companion from B&W. For your 2020 Silverado 2500, you'd need # BWRVK3710. This hitch uses a 1 inch thick jaw system which grips the the fifth wheel king pin all the way around it circumference. This means the king pin won't rattle around in the hitch jaws which provides a smooth and quiet ride. The fully articulating hitch head and cam-action locking handle allow for easy operation, even on uneven terrain.

For a gooseneck ball, I'd recommend the # BWGNXA2061 from B&W, which also includes safety chain anchors and a plug to cover the gooseneck ball hole when it's not being used.

The Reese # RP30871 you'd looked at is compatible with the Ford OEM prep package or the Reese under bed mounts, but not with the GM Puck system, so it wouldn't work on your truck.
