The most likely reasons your trailer running light circuit isn't working is corrosion on the pins of the trailer connector or a blown fuse under the hood of your 2008 Ford Super duty truck. First try cleaning all of the pins on your 7-way with sandpaper to see if that allows the connection to be made and if that does not work try checking the fuses under the hood of the truck. If the 7-way of your truck looks pretty rough you might just replace it with the part # A10-7072VP.
