How To Use 1-1/4 Inch Bike Rack with Curt Hitch for a 2019 Toyota RAV4

Question:

My bike rack has a 1-1/4inch pipe. I replaced the 2014 rav4 with a 2019 Rav4 and now need a new receiver. If I bought a Class III with a 2inch receiver, C13416 is an adaptor supplied with it so I can use my 1-1/4inch bike rack?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13416 which is a fit for a 2019 Toyota RAV4 does not come with a 1-1/4" to 2" receiver tube adapter but one can be obtained with the Brophy Hitch Reducer Sleeve part # HT02. Please note, none of our Trailer Hitch Receivers come with a 1-1/4" to 2" receiver tube adapter. The only other option would be to use the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 36675 which has a 1-1/4" receiver tube but I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver with 2" receiver tube opening as this allows for more accessories to be used.
