How To Mount Thule Cargo Basket To 2019 Toyota 4 Runner Off Road Roof

Is this rack compatible with a 2019 Toyota 4 runner TRD off road. I am concerned about the moonroof/sunroof.

Expert Reply:
The Thule Roof Cargo Basket part # TH859XT mounts to cross bars of a roof rack. If you have a roof rack on the 2019 Toyota 4 Runner with cross bars would need to be situated so that they are between 20 inches and 37 inches apart.
The basket will sit on top of the crossbars and would not touch the roof at all. I do not recommend opening the sunroof or moonroof because its path could cause it to come in contact with the basket at some point and cause major damage.
If you do not have a roof rack to the attach the basket to, I recommend Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars part # TH711400 and part # TH710401 for the feet. These bars will give you a mounting point for the cargo basket. I have attached a video for your reference.
