I spoke with my contact at Curt and they said that the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11474, will fit the 2012 Volkswagen Jetta GLI Sedan. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the # C11474 hitch.
The Curt does not include the recommended ball mount, # 3593. If you will be towing with this hitch you will also need the Tow Ready 1-7/8 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19256, or Tow Ready 2 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19258, depending on the coupler size of the trailer.
