The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98840 is the best trailer hitch for a 2020 Honda Pilot. This hitch offers a bolt-on install which many do themselves at home. The etrailer Hitch has a hidden design so only the required receiver tube will be visible while installed. I have attached an install video for you as well when I installed this hitch.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118286 is the best trailer wiring harness for a 2020 Honda Pilot. The T-One Harness offers plug-in-play installation which is also super easy to do yourself at home. The plug-in-play installation means there is no wire splicing required so again no permanent modifications are needed to be made. I have also attached an install video for you as well when I installed this wiring harness. I recommend the Mounting Bracket and Installation Hardware part # PK12711U so you can secure the trailer connector to the trailer hitch.
Please note, if the trailer has brakes you will also need a brake controller for which the best option is the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 because it is again plug-in-play and easy to use/set-up since it is controlled with a mobile phone.
