Best Snow Chains for 35/12.5-17 Tires for On-Road and Off-Road Use
Question:
Recommendation for an F150 with 35x12.50r17lt tire for on and off road use

Helpful Expert Reply:
The best tire chains for your 35/12.5-17 tires that can be used both on-road or off-road are the Pewag All Square Mud Service Snow Tire Chains # PWE2441S. The reason why is because they have links which are 8.2 mm thick - more than most - along with reinforced square links and a ladder pattern, which gives you the best traction in off-road conditions. I do recommend adding the Glacier Rubber Adjusters # PW99 to help keep the perfect tension on the chains.
Another option which will with your tire size and is more economical is the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains for Wide Base and Dual Tires # TC3231, although these chains are not as thick and have round links so you won't get quite the same traction but they'll still be a good chain for more limited use. With these chains you will want the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster for Light Trucks # TCMA2 to retain tension.
I've added links to a couple video reviews for you to check out as well.
